The Earth is Not a Cold, Dead Place is a drawing of a balance of choice and chance. Choice of my initial decisions of the set up of materials and deciding when its done. Chance on how the metal falls after it melted and how it dances on the paper making marks delicate and violent marks both work to create landscape.
